Hi All,

I'm trying to activate an HTTPS port but I am getting the bellow error:

*** ERROR => CDKLoadSAPCryptModule: Function sapcr_secloginex in CommonCryptoLib could not be loaded [cdkapi.c 2796]
*** ERROR => IcmServInitSSL: CDKLoadSAPCryptModule failed: (rc=27) [icxxserv.c   397]
*** WARNING => IcmIActivateService: Could not reactivate service (rc=-1) PORT=51601,PROT=HTTPS,TIMEOUT=60,PROCTIMEOUT=18
*** ERROR => IcmHandleMonServMsg: IcmActivateService failed for 51601, 2(rc=-1) [icxxmsg.c    3276]

Anybody got any ideas what's wrong?

Hello Jay,

I had similar problem in work with our SAP. I found with my colleagues that I have to upgrade kernel. Because we had old kernel version

and also old Cryptolib version too. So download from http://support.sap.com/swdc related SAP KERNEL package (check if you have unicode or nonunicode kernel you can check it in SAP - Status or via transaction SM51 I thing)

e.g. I downloaded from directory SAP KERNEL 64-BIT UNICODE two packages:

SAPEXEDB_500_80000765.SAR and SAPEXE_500_80000769.SAR .

Do not forget create your backup from Kernel directory. And turn of SAP application.

Extract those two packages into some new directory in downloads or whenever you

want. Then copy all files and folders from what had you extracted to the kernel directory.

If you are working in Windows as I did you could do all actions via cmd:

1. sapcar -xvf <file e.g. SAPEXEDB_500_80000765.SAR> - for file extraction - use it for both files then delete those .sar files from this folder you don't want to copy them later with other files.

2. sapcpe pf=<profile of central instance e.g. P89_DVEBMGS99_AOIT9876> - it extract kernel directory to all kernel directories where they are located. It could take 2-3 minutes.

3. If you don't get any error messages congratulate yourself :)

After that start you SAP and if you have correctly adjusted HTTPS parameter after log in to SAP and performing SMICM transaction your HTTPS port should be green and worked.

I hope this little guide will help you :)

Ps: Sorry for my not grammatically correct English :D
