MCSI figures vs GL acc figures

Hi all,

we normally use the MCSI to view the monthly sales figure and compare it against the GL account balance. For our export sales, we always found the figure between the two is always out by a few cents. For example, in MCSI, we have the sales figure of RM268,609.42 but in the GL acc we will get RM268,609.50, with a difference of 8 cents. What could be the reason contributing to this? Which source of figures will be more reliable? Any way we could rectify this? Kindly advise. Thanks

Hi,

Please check with the VBRK table and get the total amount for al the invoices for the required period posted to accounts.

Then compare this amount with both the G/L balance and MCSI output.

This will make clear which one is correct.

Did you ever get a solution for this problem?

We have the same issue, except that it's entire transactions which are not being updated in MCSI.
