MRP 1, 2, 3 & 4 View Settings

Hi,

Any one can send me the required settings in

MRP 1, MRP 2, MRP 3 & MRP 4 Views for all type of Materials. I am in urgent need.

Mr. Madan Shah,

The purpose of MRP views is to plan your materials based on the business requirement of the client..

If you could let us know the business function then we can help you..

The normal settings are basically

MRP1 VIEW - you enter the MRP type which basically tells you how your client is handling the material type....and scrap details

MRP2 VIEW - is the view where you enter the procurement details.

MRP3 VIEW - is the view where you enter the demand management details like your planning strategy, availability check details and details of configurable materials....

MRP4 VIEW - here you enter the Repetitive manfacturing details and storage location MRP details.....

Hi Madhan,

MRP Settings purely depends on the requirement of Business scenario.

Apart from that the General & most common settings are

1 In MRP View-1

Basic MRP Parameters like MRP Type.

2 In MRP View-2

MRP Procurement Parameters

which includes the Procurement Type ie E-For Inhouse production, F- For External Procurement & X - For Both.

Schedule Margin Key - where operation floats (Before & After Prodn), Opening period, closing period can be defined,

MRP Controller etc

3 In MRP View-3

Here mostly we can set Demand Management Parameters, like the Planning Stragety (Make to Stock or Make to Order)

4. In MRP View-4

Here Incase of Repetitive Mfg, you can click REM Indicator, Select the REM Profile, Define the Production Version (Which Rate Routing & BOM is selected based on Production Version)

-MRP Group,

MRP Type,

MRP Controller,

Lot Size,

Procurement Type,

Schedule Margin Key,

Backflush indicator,

Startegy Group,

Availability Check,

Ind/ Collective Idicator,

REM Profile(In REM).

Other parameters depends on your selection and business scenarios.
