The below messages are from weblog

/people/sap.india5/blog/2006/01/03/xi-asynchronous-message-processing-understanding-xi-queues-part-i

********************************************************************************

outbound queues are receiver-specific. Receiver name is encrypted in four-character value and this value suffixes XBTO.

Consider,

Receiver Name : RCV_SYS

Encrypted Name: 4___

Queue Name : XBTO4___<four digit number>

********************************************************************************

Could you plz tell me here the receiver name is RCV_SYS. so the encrypted name should be RCV_ ( I mean the first 4 characters of the the receiver name). But here why it is 4___ ??

thanks

kumar

It seems the corresponding queue is determined using a four-digit encryption of the receiver name means.............not necessarly it is first 4 digits of receiver. So probably the receiver name may be encrypted into 4 digits and will be added to XBTO. Plz correct me if my understanding is wrong.

Thanks

Hey

yes,the receiver name is encrypted into a 4 digit code and appended with the queue name.
