Error while in Schedule agreement

Hi After I defined tghe schedule agreement in ME31L and went to ME38 and put the agreemnt Number I got frm ME31L I got the following errro:

"Not possible to process a purchase order using this function" and it is not alowing me to set the schedule in ME 38.

Please guide me on how to rectify this.

HI,

Pl. check the number you are using to create delivery schedule. The number might be of a normal purchase order hence, system is not able to generate a delivery schedule.

Also pl. check whether the Scheduling Agreement is released.

Hi,

The SAP message is telling you that you have entered a PO number (or another document number that is NOT a scheduling agreement) so please check the document number that you are entering, this should be the scheduling agreement number that you want to post the delivery schedule for.

Hi,

After creating Scheduling agreement,

1. you have create source list for sheduling agreement (Me01), mention the agreement number, releavant for MRP.

2. Create Requirement MD61 - by moth wise

3. MRP Run - MD02 and then go ME38 and view the Schedule.
