Oracle JDBC - Procedures within Packages

Hello Everyone,

I have setup my SAP JDBC and BI JDBC connections to an ORACLE database. My question is:

I am unable to access SPROCs within packages. I can search the system and display the object, but once I drag it over VC shows "Fetching Metadata..." but no object is added.

Using the SAP JDBC driver, am I unable to use procedures within packages?

Hello Mario,

THanks for your reply. I did note that, but this is indeed a stored procedure inside of a package that is used to trasport the sprocs throughout the landscape. I am not an Oracle guy myself, but my understanding that the package is simply a container for the sprocs. They do come up in VC, I just can't drag them onto the screen. My thought is that indeed the driver will not support packages (as per the wiki). Would you know of a way around this?
