Hi all,

This forum is always helpfull for me.

Environment:-

<u>SAP ECC6 running with Oracle 10g on Window server 2003, 2 node clustering</u>.

My question is how to replace IP addresses for SAP Cluster Grp & DB Cluster Grp after SAP installation?

Need expert/experienced advice with any link or documentation about it.

Regards,

IP should not be a problem.

Replace it in corresponding resources and correct the hostname resolution in hosts and/or DNS. Check if it works and resolves forward and backward to new IP.

that is not quite correct.

Oracle Failsafe switches the listener configuration from hostname to ip-addresses.

If you change the ipaddress of the virtual database host you will have also to change the ipaddress in listener.ora and tnsnames.ora (on every clusternode %ORACLE_HOME%\network\admin and
sapglobalhost\sapmnt\<SID>\sys\profile\oracle)
