Vistex EDI - event linkage - Error processing status 51

We are in-process implementing Vistex. I would like to set up workflow/error processing for inbound idocs. It looks like the event linkage is not working correctly. However, I'm not 100% sure. When error status is 51 in an idoc a work item is not created.

When I execute the SWEL transaction and start an event trace, then process the an idoc with an error, no event is started.

I have looked at the the partner profile, message type. It appears to be using a FM to process the data.

Does anyone have experience with Vistex workflow processing? Any suggestions on where to start looking for the problem?

to change status u have to work with tcode bd 87 to change status from 51 to 53

What is the process code used for the Inbound IDoc? I can help you with more details.

I finally found out why my workflow wasn't starting. The process code for the IDOC was "custom". The process code had to be linked to the workflow for the workflow to start.

WE42 -> double click on the process code -> Click the ALE table (next to the custom FM) fill in IDOC packet and start/end events.
