Customer Exits in Integrated Planning

I have a requirement to implement a customer planning function with custom ABAP code. I have read the function type documentation on SAP help, but I am still confused. Does anyone have documentation on how to implement custom classes for Integrated Planning? I am specifically having a problem on how to read/write to the buffer.
