Dear Experts,

When I create a sales order for an material whose procurement type "F",

I think planning delivery time(MRP2 view of Material Master) is used for calculation

of the availability date of the order.

I think that planning delivery time is used as calendar days, not working days. However, the result of the sales order is calculated based on working days(plant calendar). Is it SAP standard?

Best regards,

Mei

Thank you for your comment.

The information of planning delivery time(MRP2 view of Material Master) is written that

"Number of calendar days needed to obtain the material or service if it is procured externally."

But, is plant calendar used for availability check?

Where can I check the setting and information for that?

Best regards,

Mei

I believe it is standard behavior. As you mention number of days in MRP 2 view but factory calendar will take into account total number of working days as there are holidays as well.

Thank you for your comment.

I checked Note:2280534(Delivery Date doesn't consider Factory Calendar) and

F1 help (explanation):Number of calendar days needed to obtain the material or service if it is procured externally.

However, does factory calendar take into account with delivery date calculation?

Is there any document about this?

Best regards,

Mei
