Hi Experts,
In our landscape, central SLD and NWDI are installed on a J2EE engine. Is configuring the JDBC connector for JDI a necessary step for before installing NWDI on J2EE engine. The path for configuring JDBC connector is : <b>go.bat>cluster data>server>services>JDBC Connector>Runtime>Drivers</b>. Right now, I see only SYSTEM_DRIVER under Drivers.<i></i>.
I am missing some connection here. DTR of NWDI uses lot of data base resources for file versioning which means, i assume, J2EE engine should be configured for data base connections.
I do not know whether J2EE engine should be configured as mentioned here in the link.

<b>Are there any post installation steps for J2EE engine installation?</b>
I have followed the "Post Installation Steps for NWDI" and configured the database for NWDI which shares the data base of the J2EE engine. I followed the below link. http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/f9/1cda5c00a048c58dcdcf8e841cbd2d/frameset.htm
The problem is Import of SCAs into NWDI always fails. So we are struck up at this step and can not modify the source code.
Can any body throw some light on <b>"JDBC driver should be configured" on J2EE engine.</b>.
Thanks in Advance!
