submit EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY and return

Hello,

I need to use submit to run CN43N.

I use:

SPAN { font-family: "Courier New"; font-size: 10pt; color: #000000; background: #FFFFFF; } .L0S52 { color: #0000FF; } .L0S55 { color: #800080; } .L0S70 { color: #808080; }

SUBMIT (iv_progname) USING SELECTION-SET iv_variant
EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY AND RETURN.

Actually when I use above submit, the out is displaying immediately after submit was executed. It should not happen. All data should be stored in memory...

What's more, I used it in 'old' tcodes e.g. CJI3 and it works properly, but problem occurs in tcodes with 'N'.

Any ideas how to submit 'N' tcodes into memory?

    Those (PS) reports nowadays use ALV (for quite some period of time) So you may consider using class cl_salv_bs_runtime_info to prevent ALV display and get the internal table data (and layout)

    NB: The good old CJI3 too use ALV so better use the class than getting a spool and hope users didn't/won't change your default expected variant...
