Dear BI experts,

We have a particular requirement for which we need the result of a KEY FIGURE of QUERY A to calculate a result in QUERY B.

I'm talking about 2 queries because we have 2 different dates selection. The steps would be the following ones:

1) We need to read all PM Work Orders with Scheduled Start Date between X and Y, and then calculate some hours in a KF.

2) We need to read all PM Work Orders with Created On Date between X and Y, being X and Y the same dates of previous step. Here we need to calculate some hours in a KF too.

3) We need to calculate a result with step 1) KF and step 2 KF.

I mentioned 2 queries because the date must be a query parameter, and I think that once all PM Work Orders were chosen with Scheduled Start Date for example, I have no chance for making a new PM Work Order selection with the other kind of date in the same query. May be you can suggest me another way to solve this requirement.

Thanks in advance and best regards.

Marce.

Dear Marce

Create two different restricted key figures one will have as a restriction the scheduled date and the second one the Created on.

thank you

Hi,

You can solve this by making two (2) SELECTIONS or RESTRICTED KF. Just filter them inside the SELECTIONS instead of having the filter in the FILTER PANE.
