ERP to SAP MII IDOC Connection Issue (Connection breaking every week)

Hello Gurus,

I am facing an issue with MII IDOCs.

Last week, the MII IDOC connection(both systems are production environments) was broken 3 times and we had to manually restart the service and resend the IDOC.

Is there a way in MII or in ERP to auto-restart the Java application?

I can do a periodic test connection from ERP and if it fails do an auto-restart. I am thinking some kind of the MII Service that we can use to restart the adapter.

Please help!
