Selection of SAP module

Hi ,

I am an Electronics & Communication Engineer & now I am attending the training for SAP on HR,MM,FICO & PP in a private Company.I would like to know on which module I can specialize to built a good career? Is it HR,MM or PP ? .Hope i get a good response from u all.

Ideally, It is recommended that you specialize in PP s you are from engineering background, where you must have had education on processes, ie an activity from a start point to end point where the face of product changes. We could link it more towards production activity.

Dear Jibz,

If you want to choose functional module it would either be MM or PP. Do not go for FI/CO as you do not have Accounting background.

The other good option would be to choose BI (Business Intelligence).

However, if you are open for technical, you can choose between Portal, XI, BASIS, ABAP.

Hi Jibin,

Since you are from techincal side, it is adviced you to take ABAP or BASIS course. Cause, both are related to technical.
