in bound deliveries means receiving of goods by factory or depot from other factories/depot/vendor/sales returns

out bound deliveries means sending the goods by factory or depot to other factories/depot/customers.

    Hi Jyothi,

Inbound deliveries are used in MM for Purchase Process.

I hope you know about Outbound deliveries used in SD in Sales Process.

Just have a look at following purchase flow, it will make you understand about inbound delivery.

Step 1: ME21N (Create PO)—Use Document type as standard PO (NB), maintain conformation control.

Step 2: VL31N (Inbound Delivery) w.r.t. PO and Vendor

Step 4: MIGO (Select Inbound Delivery option instead of Purchase order)

    Step 5: MIRO

Inbound Deliveries are particularly important when client want to implement Serial Number Concept.

    Reward Points.

    Regards,

    Gaurav Raghav.
