SAPGUI and LoadRunner problem

Hello

I'm having problems when LoadRunner start the record process to SAP GUI.

When LR start the SAP Logon and show the first window I can see the record screen with X events recorded. But when I try to navigate on the intermediate screens of SAP, the LR doesn't record. When I return to main screen, the LR continue recording again.

The LR record the first and last screen, but doesn't record the intermediate screen. I reinstaled all LR.

Are there some configuration of SAP or LR?

It´s following below, the configuration:

version:LR 8.1

protocol: SAPGUI

HTML: no

URL mode: no

LoadRunner feature or service packs: without Service pack

VuGen Recording:Recording Engine from first LR instalation.

LoadRunner license: Virtual User days

platform(s): PC with Windows XP Professional SP2

service request with HP/Mercury: no

hardware: Pentium 4 3.06GHz, 1,00Gb RAM.

SAPGUI version: 640 Final Release, patch 23

I wold be glad to know if someone can give me a step by step screenshot document for a Loadtest with SAP SD or anyother module..

Y i am asking you all this,.. well, downloading and installing a loadrunner on a desktop/standallone machine is very simple,.. but when it comes to Network environment where you have Controller installed on one machine and Load Generators on Another machine.. and Diagnostics installed on ( i donno where it will be installed ) user/server machine.. it is really difficult to imagine/assume/picturize the whole scenerio by taking x as example..

I would be really glad and thankfull if someone can let us know, how to quick start a project..

I have gone thru the Documentation " How to Perform SAP EP Load Testing.." good enough to understand but it would be more good if someone have articulated with interactive screenshots..

Ok fine, now my next question is , how do we go with SAP GUI protocol..

can someone give me an example with some interactive screenshots..

This is a very beautiful video example on SAP Bex reports,.. with video and Voice..

Recorded by using Camtasia Studio software , which will record you desktop,.. how you do , while you explain in voice..

Hope someone comes up with a nice video presentation on SAP LOADRUNNER..

Infact as of now, i am in an urgent need of a sample scenerio of Loadtest by using Mercury Loadrunner ( SAP GUI Protocol) on any SAP Module with some interactive screenshots,...

You must enable the parameter sapgui/user_scripting on the transaction RZ11 for all the instances that you access throughout the main instance. Ex.: CRM accesses ISU transaction trhough CIC0, so, you have to enable scripting on CRM instance and in ISU instance. This way, the recording will continue on the transaction that calls another instance via RFC. If the called transaction is on an instance without this parameter set, the record will not work.

The patch 18 for SAPLogon has a bug that allow you to execute scripts on instances with sapgui/user_scripting set to FALSE and this can lead you to a wrong way on solving the problem. The new patchs solved this problem. So try to use the last patch avaliable from SAP.
