NET Pricing in po?

Hi all,

I have seen myself many times possible to change the net price of a material while creating a PO. But, for some reason, I am not able to override the price of material in po(NETPRICE). It's pulling from info record. Even if I change, the price comes back to normal i.e to the price from info record. What could be wrong?

Thanks in advance for all the help.

    Hi sara

if inforecord exists, net price will be automatically picked from inforecord.

Net price is calculated automatically by the system, if any discount and surcharge exist on the gross price.

If u want to change the net price in PO ,, go to item detail screen .. first delete conditon type: discount/ surcharge.

Then net price will be editable... change it.

U can now add discount again to ur conditions.

    Let me know the result///////

    Thanks and regards

    Hi Sara,

System calculate the Net price through the Pricing Procedure.(Calculation Schema)

In this step, you define the calculation schemas.

In the MM area, a calculation schema - a framework of steps used to calculate or determine something - is used among other things to calculate costs, prices, period-end rebates, and taxes.

In the calculation schema (pricing procedure), you specify which condition types are to be taken into account in which sequence.

Net Price for pricing procedure calculated by the Subtotal Field in Pricing Procedure

In the calculation schemas, the field "Subtotal" must contain the following values in the following lines:

    Gross value: 9

    Effective value: S

If the interim total 'S' is not set, the PO values cannot be updated in the Purchasing Information System.

At Item Level , Only shows the Condition used for thet perticular Item ,and Effective price for this Condition by Pricing Prpc will shows as a Net Price.

All this Item Condition for all item in the po will shows at Header level Condition, and sumation of this cond shows as Header Net price, means total ammount of PO for all Item.

Check the Condition Records for Condition type at MEK3.

If Condition Records is maintain then PO pick up the rate from thet Cond Record.

    Hi sara,

First check whether the vendor which u have entered is assigned schema or not. If vendor is assigned schema, then the netprice is picked from condition record and if not assigned schema, then value wil be picked from info record which can never be changed.

Let me know if any other help needed...

    Regards,
