Hi guys,
Please help me:
A customer of mine, which has the SAP BO Excel Add-in installed on their employees machines was all OK fetching documents from BO HANA's database via Excel, all went smoothly until last weekend, when Microsoft put out some patches having to be with cyber attacks on MS Servers.
So my client installed the last Windows Updates and now everybody is complaining about slow times accessing BO documents via Excel.
As I could gather already all Updates were succeeded, no errors, and SAP BO server has normal values when it comes to I/O, memory and disk space, and already was restarted after those complaints.
So what could be the reason for these slowdowns? Should I restart Hana's BO DB too?
Right now I'm thinking of opening a message in SAP and handle them a WTS connection to a server which has Excel BO Add-in installed so they can reproduce the slow times and trace the error.
Please help,
Pedro Gonçalves
Did you ever tried to uninstall/reinstall AO addin from any one of the machine and see how it behaves?
