Scheduling HCI jobs from third partyschedulers

I need to know how to schedule the HCI tasks from third party applications, especially using Control M tool. Please share your thoughts.

Hi Gayathri,

The Master data updates from BW to IBP should be in real time through HCI or near real time. So the suggested method is triggering the HCI job from BW once the BW tables are updated with data. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Hello Krishna,

External schedulers can be used today with CPI-DS(aka HCI-DS). Only pre-requisite is that the external scheduler tool should able to call a webservice. See below help for details on the webservices offered by CPI-DS to start tasks (+ monitoring)
