Copy chenges to all Languages ?

Hello All,

I did some changes to a script in EN Laguage.

I want to copy these changes to all languages.

Can any one tell me how to do this ?

usually, when you copy your script from client 000, to your desired language, the original language is set as DE, to modify the original language to your desired language, goto the desired client, SE71, form name, language: DE, click change , now goto utilities--> original language, reset the original language to EN..

Now goto SE71, give form name and language EN, Goto header data of form and select radiobutton, to all languages,

Note this can be done in DE, if you don't want to change the original language to EN.

Hello All,

I'm not authorized to use SE76 Transaction.

@SAI :

1. I'm in 060 CLient.

2. The Original Language is EN.

3. I need to copy into all languages.

For the above u said :-

After this how to translate ?

sorry, translation is not possible in SE71, but form will be available for all languages..

SE76 is the place for translation.. ask for authorizations.

Also try in SE63, where language translations are possible

From menu, Transalations--> R/3 enterprise --> other long text forms ( this may vary in different version of SAP)

Hello Sai,

That's what my Problem is !!!

The form is still available in all languages ..But not with the changes.

@Sudheer : I used the program RSTXFCPY to copy the form to all the languages.

It gave me a message saying that the form is copied to EN, DE, FR and Es languages.

But when I go and check the Form in the copied language eg: DE the changes are not visible.

Can any one help me out ?

SE76 is the place for translation.. ask for authorizations.

Also try in SE63, where language translations are possible

Hello Sai,

I used SE76 to translate the form.

There I did the following :-

1.Gave my form name.

2. Gave the source language as EN and Target language as DE.

3. First selected the 1rst Radio Button in SUb-objects as Descriptions.

4. CLicked on CHANGE.

5.It gave me the following output when I checked it.

6. When I pressed the release button it said shud it be released despite warnings. I said yes .

7. I followed the same procedure for the next radio button also " Windows Texts and Documentations ".

8. There also I got the same message and I choosed YES to release.

Now I went and checked in the DE language for the changes.

The changes were not reflected still.

Can u tell me what shud I do now ?

Hi,

suppose u have chage the form in EN lanuguage... now u want to maintain the changes in FR language...

then login in FR language>goto se71>enter u r form Name--> CHANGE.

now you will be inside the script..

now in the MENUBAR>selct>FORM>COPY FROM> now a popup will be displayed-->here enter the form Name in Engilish(the same form) and language = EN.

i am sure u r problem will be solved.

Hello Omkar,

I did as u said . Now all the changes were copied into DE.

But it's not possible for me to go to every language and do this if the form is avaliable in 150 Languages.

I want to know the reason why the other ways of copying are not working ?

can u explain ?

then u can make changes there by inserting lines.
