can we assign multiple credit control areas to single company code. if yes where do we do.?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Cpdatt,
YES. We can assign multiple Credit control area to Single Company code. For assiging the same use the following path:
IMG> Financial Accounting> Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable> Credit Management> Credit Control Account--> Assign Permitted Credit Control Areas to Company Code. Here you can assign multilple cr. cont areas to Company code. If this assignment is not done system gives an error while posting the Billing doc to Accounting.
Also you can assign Sales area to Credit control area using the path:
IMG> Enterprise Structure> Assignment> Sales and Distribution> Assign sales area to credit control area. If this assignment is done then we can avoid maintaining the Credit control area in the Customer master data. When we create a Sales order the system automatically determines the Crd. control area using the sales area assignment.
Hope the above info helps you.
REWARD if it helps you!!
