Hi--for the Crystal Dashboard product (Xcelsius), what software actually is downloaded and running on the PC vs. running in the SAP Cloud? Is the product entirely / 100% stand-alone on the PC? Is connectivity to the Cloud required to run the product? Are there additional features and/or options for the product that require connection to the Cloud (whether or not the product is running in stand-alone mode?)

Hello Tucker,

Dashboard (Xcelsius) is a stand alone software. You don't need anything else, other than Excel and Flash player.

Dashboard can connect to different sources, like Excel, web services, QaaWS, etc to create dashboards.

Thanks for the response. So to confirm--there is no SAP cloud integration required to run Xcelsius (it is stand-alone, understand) but the other part of my question was whether SAP provides any additional features / integrations that leverage other cloud-based SAP products (is answer to that no as well?)

Also--are you saying that Adobe Flash Player is required to run Xcelsius? My understanding is that Flash is being discontinued and is no longer supported (release updates, etc.) so this would be a major downside for us using this product.
