HI Guys
I had installed BW 7 and created a client 500. But when I execute the transaction RSA1 in 500 client it says it would work only in client 000 whereas I had done a client copy with profile SAP_ALL.
Moreover I am just able to veiw the basic R/3 Screen but not the BW Screen.
Please guide me on the step by step procedure.
Thanks

HI Ruchit
Thanks for y our reply. I had gone through this link before but still did not run the report.
I just had a doubt if all the BW Transaction's like RSA5 and RSA1 would work after running the report.
Moreover should I create an RFC connection to any normal R/3 Server?
Your inputs would help me
thanks
Madhav
Hello Madhav,
Well then it is good that you tried yoourself. Sorry if i was harsh.
Anyways "I had gone through this link before but still did not run the report.
" .I think here you mean the function module not report ??
Yes you can create an RFC connection to the desired R/3 server. Of course.
Regards.
Ruchit.

Hello Madhav ,
SAP Note :116432
I will paste the content for you :
this message is for a client copy from a bw-client as 000 or other to another client
sap message number 116432
solution
the copy in the client has the following steps
steps:
a) no active users
make sure, that no persons are in the system
b) entry of table T000
- notice the logical system of the client 001
.
- delete the entry and ignore the warnings
- create a new client and put in the field logical system the entry you have deleted before
and save
c) examine Tablespace PSAPCLUD (in dependance of the database)
please examine with transaction SE16 the number of data reords in table EDI40.
then determine with transaction DB02 the free place in tablespace PSAPCLUD.
extend the Tablespace PSAPCLUD for table EDI40
d) copie of the client
- announce in the target system as user SAP*
- got to client copy wiht Transaction SCCL
- use profile "SAP_ALL".
setting in the profile the fields "dataselection" and "copymode" all entries active
- choose as source client and as source client for user trunks client 001
- Starting copy
at the end of copy:
e) setting productive client
make an entry of the client in the instance profile or DEFAULT.PFL as client for using the system
register the parameter login/system_client
please don't make changes above start of production
In all OLTP - Systems:
f) regist the RFC - connection in all OLTP - Systems
please announce in all connectde OLTP - Systemes and regist the rfc - connection to the BW-System
choose Transaction SM59; expand to 'R/3-connections.
you will find a connection with the name <SID>CLNT<client>
<SID> is the name of your BW - System and <client> your old client from your bw-system
change fhe field "client" with your new lient-number and save
test the connection versus "connection tes" and "remot login"
only in BW - System:
g) restart the system
at the end regist this default-client in the field BWMANDT in table RSADMINA with transaction SE16

Santosh
