ECM workflow issues

Hi gurus,

I am having problem with the ECM workflow we are using ws21300038 and we are in ecc 6.0 and portal is EP 6.0.We are having issues with the workflow.When a change is submitted workflow is triggered correctly and the manager who is making the change can also approve or reject it.And it is going to the upper level manager for approval but it is not showing in the UWL instead the manager should search for the employee and approve it.

Any help is apprciated and the points are also rewarded.
