I have come across an end user issue that SAP surprisingly declines to support 😊
1. Employee applies for leave requests in Portal working time application.
2. Manager/Approver receives email notification due to above application.
3. Manager approves/rejects.
4. Notification email sent to employee informing of approval/rejection.
Many users have reported NON RECEIPT of this email. It happens intermittently.
Since I have not implemented this workflow, I had to run though some reverse engineering research. I find that no jobs RSWUWFML2 or SWN_SELSEN is scheduled on backend ERP 2004 ECC 5.0 server.
While I check SOST (on ECC server), I can see that no email even originated (for notifications that were reported to be missing) from server. So there is no technical issue in terms of SCOT config.
Has anyone else faced this behaviour? Do provide all inputs to troubleshoot this issue.
