Master Data and Hierarchy Reporting

Hi friends,

We recently implemented SAP R3 and I want to find a way to easily download clean reports that show hierarchy set up (i.e. - cost center hierarchy that shows node levels related to cost centers, cost element hierarchy, profit center hierarchy). Any suggestions? Would like a report or transaction that could be made available to general user population. Similar to OKENN but downloadable...

My other question relates to COPA. Is there a report to show value field definitions relative to allocations? What about allocation rules?

One more question: How do you deal with changing of hierarchies from a histroical perspective? Are reports typically frozen? (i.e. - if we change the cost center hierarchy and then run a prior period report, it will use the current hierarchy versus the hierarchy at that point in time)

You can download cctr hierarchies using KSH3 and pctr hierarchies using KCH3. Seelct your Hierarchy and then download to PC.

Allovations can be viewed in overview within each cycle when displaying them.

hierarchies are not time dependent so whne you change them the reports change. You could create a new one and leave the old if you need historical.

Use KSH3 and enter the standard hierarchy name in the cost center group field. The nodes that appears next needs to be manually expanded. This can be painstaking, especially if you thousands of nodes. Via the menu Group>Save to PC file you can save the output files as hierarchy.xls.
