I want to prevent running BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_TT if there will be any goodsmovement error.

According to note 208477, for BAPI_PROCORDCONF_CREATE_TT the goods movements are generally posted in the update program for technical reasons, even if "Immediately in dialog" has been set for the process control in Customizing (OPK4), therefore, the COGI and CO1P records are generated due to the goods movements not successfully posted or a lock situation.

I will try to decrease these errors by some prechecks. check the stock for consumed material, and check the locks before calling the bapi. i will check affw after running BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_TT and reverse the confirmation if there is error.

I do not understand why SAP do not find a solution for this issue. The customer strictly do not want cogi and i think this is a reasonable request. What else can i check or what else can i do.

When the confirmation is posted through a BAPI, goods movements are posted in update mode, which means that it is not possible to throw an error message in case of locking situation or error is the goods movement.

What you can do is to periodically schedule the report CORUPROC to process the CO1P and goods movements with error in background. You may also create an implementation of BAdI WORKORDER_CONFIRM and try to implement your own logic to minimize the errors in CO1P and COGI.
