Employee have an entitlement of addtionall leave 3 days per month(quota type 01),
but there is a limit of 20 days one year(quota type 02).
I create a absence type 001 .
now I need a deduction rule to deducte quota from quota type 01 and 02
at one time.
How to create a deduction rules for absence quotas to deduction two quotas
at one time?

Hello,
Can someone explain me when an employee donates sick leave days to his Home Pool (Sick bank) whether the back end table V_T5UPBSPOOLH (Where we maintain Initial days/hours for Absence Pools) will get updated automatically or not.
I am using IT 0613 to donate to the Home pool and made sure he is enrolled in IT0696.I know that it uses free compensation method in IT0416.
Can explain me the process in detail

Why do you need to deduct the two quotas? May be I didn't understood the problem but one quota could be for entitlement info only , and the other one for total amount to be able to deduct... and use time management if necessary to do the checking and increase: decrease the entitlement.....
in fact you don't really need two quotas
Hi Colin,
As far as I know, an absence type can only deduct one absence quota at a time.
An absence type is attached a counting rule, and a counting rule is attached a deduction rule (actually two -- one within entitlement and one over entitlement). In a deduction rule, more than one quota can be defined but they cannot be deducted at the same time; first, one is deducted (according to the priority), if there is no balance for the first quota, next is deducted.

Set priorities for quotas in deduction rule.by giving two quotas over there.

goto spro and then
follow the below path to create counting rule
time management-Time Data Recording and Administration-Absences-Absence Catalog-Absence Counting-Rules for Absence Counting (New)-Define Counting Rules
follow the below path for creating deduction rule
time management-Time Data Recording and Administration-Managing Time Accounts Using Attendance/Absence Quotas-Define Deduction Rules for Absence and Attendance Quotas
in deduction rule u have to specify the conditions
Reward points if helpful

hi nalla,
In my company, employee can take no more than 3 days Leave for one month
and take no more than 20 days Leave for one year.
So I create two absence quota:
01 for month,
02 for year.
that is to say,
quota 01 valid from 01.01-01.31 3 days
02.01-02.28 3 days
03.01-03.31 3 days
.....
quota 02 valid form 01.01-12.31 20 days.
when employee take leave, the quota 01 and quota 02 should be deducte at a time.
I need the method to create a deduction rule ,which deducte two quotas at the same time.
I know how to configure deduction rule to deducte one quota.
but not know how to deducte two quotas at the same time.
another example for this situation:
in china labor law,Employee can not work over time more than 4 days
OR 36 hours in one month.
if employee's stardard work time is 6 hours in a days and 5 days in a week,
he can work overtime 4 days at weekend(4*6=24) and overtime 3 hours at every
weekdays for 4 days ( 4*3=12).
but he can not work overtime 5 days at weekend.(because law not allow work overtime more than 4 days although it is only 5*6=30 hours).
so two attendance quota should be create and deducte at the same time to
meet this requrement.
hope it clear now,
regards
colin
