Hi Experts,

We have requirement to migrate data from Legacy ERP to S4HANA On-Premise.

1) Could anyone provide detail steps to perform the data migration using Data Services(BODS)

2) Best practices and lessons learnt in data migration using Data Services (bods) into S4HANA

Also, apart from cleansing and rightsizing your data,

1) what are the other steps.

We are not planning to use RDS solution at this point.

We are 6- 7 Files from which data needs to be migrated to S4HANA system.

2) Also could you elaborate on the step "rightsizing"

This are big questions but I would like to try to give you an indication.

1. SAP Advanced Data Migration by BackOffice Associates could help you govern your data migration and generate your Data Services code and is recommended by SAP for S/4HANA transitions.
2. From my experience, two of the most important preconditions for a successfull S/4HANA data migration are cleansing and rightsizing your data.
