Import Web IDE Project into Eclipse

Hello I wrote some code in the WebIde and have to use it for a customer. The customer doesn't have a WebIde only eclipse is allowed. I exported the Code from the WebIde into Zip file. I created an SAP UI5 Development Project in Eclipse ( first image ) then imported the zip code as import from archive ( Second image ) . The problem is when i execute the code on the server only the index.html under webcontend which is generated during the project creation is executed. The imported code is not executed. In the Chrome tools one only sees the index.html nothing else is executed no errors. Can somenone give me an advise whats wrong here and how i can correct it?

Regards

Dirk

What are the contents of the index page? Is it set to load the component of the app?

    • You are right the index.html was not set to load the component of the app.
The problem is Eclipse and WebIde use different structures. In the Eclipse i have another Root folder then in WebIde
I didn't recognize it at first. The solution is to change all paths for the App to the Root folder in the Eclipse structure.
After doing that and correcting the index.html correspondingly especially the resourceroot entry now it finally works.

      Many thanks.

    Hi Dirk,

While migrating code from WebIde to Eclipse, one has to change all paths in the project since Eclipse uses another folder structure. Try if this helps.
