Hi ,
I'm new to xi plz clarify my doubts on idoc:
1.when sender system sends IDOCS max how many records can be sent
as a payload?
2.how frequently we can push idocs in to XI system?
Plz clarify these doubts people who worked on IDOCS.
Regards,
Vinod.
Reddy,
1.when sender system sends IDOCS max how many records can be sent

You cannot guess the no. of records because it depends upon the clients data and the business process behind it. I even have seen the Idoc with 30,0000 segments.
2.how frequently we can push idocs in to XI system?
You can schedule RSEOUT00 in R3 depending upon your requirements. If you schedule for every 10minutes then you will R3 will trigger out IDocs for every 10 minutes. So it depends how you schedule it in R3.

If my client has 1 lakh records , can i split in to 10,000 records each time and send it as a payload every time when an idoc is triggered.
and for posting IDOCs which transaction will be used?

Hey,
If you are using a normal idoc scenario then per idoc 1 payload.
If you are using idoc bundling trick scenario or collecting idocs with out bpm then depends on the value specified.

2.how frequently we can push idocs in to XI system?
Depends on the business requirement and the amount of data being transferred.
