Fiori launchpad tile count - Changing tab stops triggering count service

Hello Expert's,

We are facing a strange issue in our (Fiori 2.0) Launchpad, where the count service is configured to be triggered for every N number of seconds. But, the trigger/batch script stop's calling the count service once a new browser tab is opened on the same window or if a different browser tab is navigated. We are using Internet Explorer 11.x as our browser. Is there any patch available or OSS notes raised already ? Anybody else facing the same issue ?
