Printing

In transacction Migo, with movement type 201 (consumption for cost center from warehouse), in general tab, there are a printer machine checkbox. Usually when user print from there, the system just print 3 copies. Now there are printing 6 copies and I dont know the reason. In material master, in plant data/stor. 1 tab there are a field called "Number of GR slips with a input = 0.

So I dont know where the system is taking the instruction of 6 copies.

I would like to know where I can find this instrucction in the system.

Hi,

Be careful, the number of slips field does not mean what you think.

This field represents the "Number of these items on one gr slip"

So for example if you have 10 items on a pallet and you set this field to 10, when you receive 30 pieces you will get THREE GR slips (there are 3 pallets).

So if you set this to 0 or 1 then you will get a print for every piece (GR 10 and you will get 10 slips.

You don't have a setting on the material master for how many copies you just have a setting for how many items equals ONE COPY.

The number of copies is on the condition record and this is multiplied byt the number of copies calcualted using the field on the material master.

Also Rajesh is rioght there IS a condition record WA for WA01, this controls which printer is used, this record is maintained in config and one of the settings is the number of prints.

Please do check the config of the printer settings (SPRO > MM > Inventory management > Output determination > maintain conditions.

Hello,

Check using tcode MN23. Output type WA01, transaction/event type WA. You should find "number of messages' in the communication screen.

In our system we not have conditiones seted in teh output type WA01, transaction/event type WA. I tried with ohter types, but without satisfactory results.

There are another place in the system where can set the numbers of copies about a document that reffers to a movement type for example 201 ?
