Is it possible to use classification directly on preventive maintenance orders ? (instead a configurable tasklist which is related to the preventive maintenance order)
kind regards
arthur
Hi Arthur,
As far as I can remember it is not possible to classifiy maintenance orders directly from the maintenance order itself. However it is possible for notifications.

it is not for the order but just for the maintenance plan.
although I haven''t got a working config tasklist from what I have read I understand that the values you need to fill in can only be entered when the maintenance plan is executed to an order. we want certain values already stored in the maintenance plan.
when we have a long term maintenance plan for a building we have a few variables
what ? (main equipment)
where ? (functional location)
what to do ? (task list ?)
the what to do is a standarized list with key figures which hold info about price /m2 or price /piece for a certain maintenance task.
the amount of what to do can vary with the functional location and with the specific 'what to do? 'itself like 'paint all the walls every 20 years' or replace the ceiling plates every 10 years. every task has it's own amount of how much to do when it's executed for a certain functional location and equipment.
there is a execution factor you can give on the task but it only goes to 999 while I'm already positive that when it comes to task for floormaintenance that it the execution factor is much higher
so here some background info on the request that I have to solve
kind regards arthur
cleaning up old questions, still amazed that I have to mark them as answered since there came no proper answer at all.

Hi Arthur,
You can create different maintenance order types in config and use it during maintenance order creation.
