Handling units in BW extractors

Hello gurus,

A delivery has a handling unit. I would like to kno if the Delivery specific extractors pick data pertaining to handling units? I checked 2LIS_12_HDR/ITM and SCL..but could not find handling unit. Please help.

Hi KS,

we had also the request to show

a) internal movements but not as material movements

b) handling units

We solved the problem by creating generic extractors on

a) a view on LTAK/LTAP

b) table VEKP (The item line table has only describing information's)

Then we extracted the data and made a load to ODS Objects, then we consolidate the ODS Data in one final ODS.

Under transfer global settings you will find 4 options.

1. currencies

2. unit of measurement

3 fiscal year periods

4. factory calendar

You can choose required and execute

Here we are dealing with Handling units :The concept of Handling unit Management in SAP can help a Corporation in simplifying transactions related to internal material movements and packaging processing.

Its a part of shipping/packing. It does not relate to any 'Unit of measure'.

One small guess .Just check the flow and take your unit of measure for a

particular vblen and based on Vbeln search in the following tables link and do the

<u><b><a href="http://www.erpgenie.com/abap/tables_sd.htm">SD FLOW</a></b></u>

code in the user exit or FM level..

Hi

All units for all the keyfigures needs to be replicated from source system to BW system to make them available for calcuations

Right click on the source system -> Transfer global settings -> the screen will appear for all the units in the source system which needs to replicated in BW system
