Number of ERP standard currencies

I have been asked by customers.

"S / 4 HANA supports multilingual and multi currency"

The language is 39
So how many currency units do you have after system installation now?
How many currencies does the S / 4 HANA EM support immediately after setup?

regards,

Hiroshi

As Juergen pointed out, this info is probably of no help, but still I checked my S/4HANA 1610 FPS02 System:

Table TCURC has 214 entries there.

(Includineg stuff like "Österreichische Schilling (alt --> EUR)" or "Angolanische neue Kwanza (alt)". )

best

Is the number really important or even more important than knowing which currencies?

Aren't they anyway subject to customizing and you can add as many as you need like it was in R/3 and ERP?

I know that (because it is a consultant).
I was asked by customers who newly use the SAP system.

I can add currency units to S / 4 HANA EM.
Customer wants to know How many currencies does the SAP system support by default before doing it?

There was no document where SAP officially announced it.
(There is a document explaining the language that ERP supports)
Should I answer the number of currency units registered in the ERP standard table?

if your client is satisfied with such a number then count the entries and tell him, anyway too late if your client bought already the system ("customers who newly use the SAP system")

But does currency in a table really mean it works? Aren't there other tables which have to be maintained daily to make currencies really work: the exchange rates.

Why should one be proud on having 50 currencies and maintaining 50 exchange rates if he only does business with 3 foreign countries for example.

My TV remote control also has 40 languages pre-installed - guess how many I use... and this was certainly not among the reasons to buy it.
