Hi Arathi Rajan, ALL ARE GIVEN WRONG ANSWERS TO YOU : SORRY TO SAY THAT ....

YES YOU CAN CREATE ONE SALES ORDER WITHR EFERENCE TO MULTIPLE QUOTATIONS:

FOLLOW ME:

1). GO TO VA01 SCREEN ENTER ORDER TYPE : OR

ENTER SALES AREA

2). SELECT THE ICON " WITH REFERENCE TO QUOTATION"

AND THEN COPY THE 1 QUOTATION DETAILS, THEN IT WILL TAKE YOU TO SALES ORDER SCREEN, THERE U WILL FIND ONE LINE ITEM . OK

3). THEN, IF U WANT TO ENTER MULTIPLE QUOTATIONS:

SALES DOCUMENT- SELECT CREATE WITH REFERENCE AND SELECT THE MULTIPLE QUOTATIONS LIKE THIS:

4). NOW U CAN ABLE TO CREATE THE SALES ORDER WITH REFERENCE TO MULTIPLE QUOTATIONS.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU ,

Hi.

try from the sales order (VA01 or VA02) to select the menu 'Sales document --> create with reference'. I think it is possible to insert items from more than a quotation in this way.

Hi Arthi,

You cant create a Sales Order with reference to more than one quotation at a time.

While creating Sales Order in VA01, after giving Order type and Sales area, click on Create With Reference, there you can give the quotation name which you want to refer. It will take only one quotation at a time.

Still you have open items in that quotation ( means if the items quanities are not completley reffered), then you can create again a sales order with reference to that quotatio.

This you can do till the open items are available in that quotation.

Hope this is helpful.

REWARD IF HELPFUL.

hi,

" can a sales order be created with reference to more than one quotation " . No.

you can create any number sales orders till the time a quotation with respect to the line item quantities is totally consumed. But you cannot create one sales order referring to more than one quotation.

And VA01 is the t.code.

If your copy controls are updating the document flow, then you can create as many quotations as you want until the quantities in teh quotation are fully updated in the sales order. Once the quantities in quotations and quantities in sales orders are same for all the line items(No line item is open), no more orders can be created with reference to quotation

The tcode for creating sales orders is VA01 and you can give the reference as quotation document.

Reward if this makes the understanding clear.
