Batch Split

Hi gurus,

With my client finished products are batch managed, i have made setting in material master ticked. so when doing goods receipts against a production order, batch is created automatically now i want to split the quantities. when i split the quantities it is getting assigned to same batch. i want to assign to different batch.

is any other setting to be made. please give suggestions
