Correlation ID of a Message

Hi

One of the task of monitoring BPM is "correlation ID of a message." To see this we got to start from SXMB_MONI.....> PE....> ........... Finally double click on the relevant row of table of displayed correlations (i.e on one of the table of open correlations) and then finally the correlation content is displayed.

So regarding this could you plz tell me what we are going to monitor by doing this ?? Is it like the message of receive step will be seen here ??
