Problem with split interface in sap pi

Hi Experts,

I have one question one of my interface having split flow like

First flow: From legacy to xi

Second flow from XI to SAP(R/3) System.

During month ends there is some huge flow is happening to this interface so interface is stopping up to First flow, second flow is not forming and again from xi side we are again uploading the file and it is processing ,so every time we are doing it manually.

Can any body please suggest how to over come this situation.
