Hi All,
Im in the process of creating a adhoc query report to fetch a list of employees with a particular infotype category. In order to do this, I created the infoset query; selected the logical db, and assigned the user group in SQ02; while saving, I get the dialog box - Create Object Directory Entry to select the Package or create as a local object.
Can anyone please explain the concept of package in SAP HR adhoc queries?
I know we can create a package in SE21 tcode, but I need to understand how packages can be used for adhoc queries in SAP HR.
For example, I need to create adhoc query reports in Payroll, and pensions, and hradmin areas (all of them primarily use logical db PNPCE). do I need to create different packages for each of them?
