I want to create Web Template

WAD is the tool used to create web templates...

It is a very basic tool where you drag and drop the web objects to the design area and assign dataprovider to the objects.

Hi Maaya,

You have to Design the query in WAD first

very easy if you follow WIZARD

Open WAD --> on top tool Bar Tools --> click Wizard --> click Next --> you will have web Items listed there --> if you want to show Data select table --> click Next --> attach your Query( from Select Query) --> click next --> give some title and mention Height and width ( these customisations you will not have in BEX Analyser) > If you want to add a Chart click ADD ITem and go ahead in the same way as for Table otherwise click Next and Save (save it to Fav or Roles)> now to run this Query Click Web Template --> Execute in Browser..

To create Web Template (IView)

Open the same Query you saved in Open roles or Favourites --> then on the top menu Bar you will find Publish --> In enterprise portal 5.0 or 6.0(depends on ur vrsion) > As IVIEW> save it in favourites..Then you can find a Link IVIEW if you execute in browser..
