Can u plz give me some details of exactly what is UDDI server and how it is used in xi .....

    UDDI (Universal Description, Discovery and Integration)

    -Describes how to advertise and discover a Web service

    -Differentiates Web service provider, Web service and Web service type

    -Holds metadata that can be used to search for services(names, IDs, categories, types, etc.)

    -Specifies the interface for Web service registries

    UDDI Business Registry

    -The directory for Web services on the Internet

    -Publicly available, free of charge

    -Operated by SAP, IBM, Microsoft, and NTT Communications

    -UDDI Version 3 Beta available now

      hi,

      I would like to know if there is a way by which i can programatically search in the UDDI.

      Help.sap talks bout using http://<server host name>:<port no,>/uddiclient, to search the UDDI.

      I want to be able to search, publish my WSDL through a program(EJB or WebDynpro).

      Is there a way to achieve the above? Is there a webservice which gets called to run the UDDI service? Is there any DC or API that i can add in my Used-DCs??
