issue in "OverRide Idoc control Headers" in SAP PO 7.5

Hi Experts,

I am working on SAP PO-->ECC inbound Idoc scenario

Since in the message mapping EDI_DC40 sender port,sender partner type ,sender partner are mandatory i have mapped values in the PI message mapping

But i want to override the values and at run time i wanted to give the values so i have selected the OverRide Idoc Control Headers option and inserted some values

The Idoc Sucessfully reaches the ECC in status 51 with the Overridden Values BUT

When i open the message in PI and see the After mapping Payload and VO payload the values of the message mapping are shown instead of Overridden values

IS this the normal behaviour of the system ?? it should show the Overridden values??

Please throw some light on this

Overriding of Control records with the given values happens during channel execution , but the one which you are seeing is from the mapping so i guess you wont be able to see those value which are mentioned in the channel.

How about IDOC message monitoring due you still see the values of mapping only ? If yes then there is no way other then trace to see those overriden channel values.

In Idoc message monitoring I could see the Overridden Values Of control record..
