Hi All,
Currently i have release strategy implemented on PO. For a time being i want this release functionality to stop. Can anybody tell how to do it?

If you are using Release procedure with Classification, you can set the 'status' of Class as 'Locked'. This will ensure release functionality are not called into application.

Surely the easiest way is to set the checks at the maximum.
So if you check on value, just enter a value check of >999999999999,
Nothing will get stopped then.
If you check on document type, just change the document type to one that does not exist.

remove some of the parameters from the release strategy values u hae entered
the system will not consider purchase order

whenever u define the chat and te class
assign some of the values in the char.
do one thing
go to cl20n and remove some of the values u have maintained in the char
the release strategy will not be applicable to your p/o
