Hi MM wizards )

I'm SD admin so I don't know maybe my question is stupid

So..

I have a question . Can I block a batch of material for selling .

Example :

Mat. no batch

300001 111

300001 112

300001 113

And I want for example block 300001 - 112 .

And it's possible to unblock it later

Best wishes

Lukasz

There is a radio button on the Basic Data 1 tab - Batch Status.

HI,

This might be because you have not activated batch status management for the batches.

Go to SPRO

Logistics general > Batch management > Specify Batch Level and activate Status management

the click on status management and activate it, then click on the "Plants with batch status management" and flag the appropriate plants.

Your status flags should then appear.

Hi

I found 2 flags:

- btch deletion indicator

- stock deletion flag

is one of them or not .....

Hi,

No, it is a flag that sets the batch as "restricted use".

I will try to get to a SAP system and be more specific.

Cheers

Steve

Could you tell me where is the status .

I found something in classification - Set classification status - I have there (relased, locked incomplete)

When I set locked I still can make the sales order and outbound with material and the batch

Hi,

you have to look for the restricted flag.

Clicking this moves the stock to a separate stock status and "hides" it away and prevents its use.

So just look for this flag and set it (I am not at my SAP system at the moment and so I can't tell you exactly where it is but it is definitely in that transaction. It is just a flag though and easily missed.

Hi,

You need to make the batch "restricted use" by changing the status in batch management (MSC2N).

Thsi stops the batch from being sold or issued etc.
