head count keyfigure

Hi to all

I am using Headcount and Personnel Actions (0PA_C01),cube for my reporting there is two key figure for rowcount , headcountFTE (0HDCNT_FTE),Number of Employees (0HDCNT_LAST), then which keyfigure , I should use for row count

Hi,

I don’t know your exact requirement, but let me explain the difference

between 0HDCNT_LAST and 0HDCNT_FTE..

0HDCNT_LAST contains value ‘1’ <b>for each record</b> of 0HR_PA_0

0HDCNT_FTE is calculated by division of IO 0PAYPCT by 100.

You can see this in the routines of update rules for these IOs.

E.g. Capacity Utilization Level in % (0PAYPCT) is 50 % for three

employees the sum of 0HDCNT_FTE would be 1.5, the sum of

0HDCNT_LAST would be 3 for the same three employees.

Thanks for response, actually i have four reports there i have to calculate a manpower strength , addition of trainee & lateral , and no of separation & resignation , for that reports what keyfigure should i take 0HDCNT_LAST are 0HDCNT_FTE . In my cube i have a two updat rules 0PA_C01 0HR_PA_0, here 0HDCNT_LAST is in inactive stage , but 0PA_C01 0HR_PA_1 is active mode , so can i use this 0HDCNT_LAST in this situation

which IO determines trainee & lateral ? 0EMPLGROUP? IF so, then

restrict KF 0HDCNT_LAST by correponding value of 0EMPLGROUP ,

data are provided by IS 0HR_PA_0.

IF separation & resignation are determined in the same IO, procedure

is also the same.

But I guess this information is in 0ACTIONTYPE. so please use KF

0ACTION_CNT and restrict it by desired values of 0ACTIONTYPE

(data from 0HR_PA_1).

This scenario should cover Business Content of 3.5.

If your company has done extensive customizing, please contact

the guys of HR department and HR people in IT to discuss the issue..
