Alternate caluculateion type

Hi sd gurus,

Pls explain me how we manage alternate calculation type.

Q. The caluculation type for k007 is percentage, then what happens if we give alternate cal type as amount in pricing schema.My doubt is instead of using alternate cal type, we can make changes in condition type control data na.
