SAP B1 migration path to SAP A1

Is there a seamless migration path from B1 to A1? How easy can B1 customers migrate to A1 if they have outgrown B1. Thanks.

Hi,

no, there's no complete preconfigured out-of-the-box migration from B1 to A1, like a one-click migration. There are definitely ways to migrate data with the support of some tools that are provided around B1 and A1.

But there's no way to seamlessly migrate business logic, i.e. add-ons, or certain configuration. This is because both systems have a complete different technology stack (data model, object description, business logic, ...).

I thought so, too. There should not be one-click migration now.

We want to review and explore ways to do this. We are currently doing SAP B1 and A1 in the region and it would be great for us to explore tools to perform an effective migration for customers who have outgrown B1. Thanks!
